Banants 3:2 Santa Coloma: Everyone Was Shocked

Last champion Banants faced against Santa Coloma yesterday in Champions League’s first qualifying round’s return game. While our ambassador is eliminated by Andorrans, Hovsepyan’s performance couldn’t be enough.

New national player ,who showed an effective football on the pitch, managed to score twice while his team has won the game 3-2. His first goal was scored from a freekick with a great strike. He was also the man who earned this freekick chance.

He also hunted the rival’s goalkeeper Casals on 56th minutes from a penalty kick. He put Banants lead for the next round but the last second goal which was scored by goalkeeper Casals demolished Hovsepyan too just like anyone else in Banants. It was witnessed that young player bursted into tears after shocking loss.

This goal didn’t shock only Banants footballers on the pitch, but also fans on the stands and media members on press area were shocked and disappointed.

Banants players cave in on the pitch after the referee blew the final whistle. Some players couldn’t keep their tears as they were about to celebrate their victory.

Meantime, while Banants players were living sadness, Santa Coloma players were celebrating their victory. There were scenes worth to see during Santa Coloma players’ celebration. The celebration for away side went on after everyone has already left the stadium.
